First of all, I keep forgetting to give @ecilPRguy props for his game. I passed it around the office and it got huge laughs.

Second, yes to your first link! A thousand times yes. I know I'll never have 2,000 or 10,000 followers on Twitter: I don't need to! And it rankles when someone treats me like some second-class Twitter citizen (if anyone says Twitizen I will punch faces) just because my number is smaller than theirs.

Thanks Rachel. The only problem is the stigma often associated with homeless people. It would be a great goodwill effort if one company started the trend.

Great idea Jeff! Companies could put it into their checkout process, so after you've purchased your card, it would say "Do you want to purchase a $5 card to give to someone needy? Check yes, and we'll send it to you!"

I'm so glad that my post made you think and that it resonated with you enough that you wrote a follow-up post :) You bring up some great points, especially the one about collaboration. I think that is one of the most important words for our industry today. I personally would not be where I am today if it weren't for collaboration.

Thanks for the comment Tom. It was a great day as the seat belongs to the people and the people spoke. 73% of the independent voters selected him which was huge.
